It is my third year.. And again I was irritated about the high prices for the food.. Specially the main dishes..

But, the prices of the drinks allways keep me coming back.. this year 1 grand for the Master beers.. nice.. and for 2 or 3 grands you have very good wines..

It is a very commercial event, where mr Maurer really wants to make (a lot of) money.
Promoting food and restaurants is really second place..Richardnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9117457965555197769.post-27129642324524095832011-06-06T22:12:49.037+02:002011-06-06T22:12:49.037+02:00Interesting post. It wasn't particularly clear where the entrance fee (i.e. the 150 left over after the 250 CZK was converted into 'grands) actually went. The food on offer, whilst high quality (Cowboys burgers were melt-in-your-mouth lovely), was incredibly expensive compared, and in my mind, the restaurants that were selling there should have been convering their own costs, rather than requiring an entry fee. Whilst it's nice to be able to sample dishes from the top quality restaurants, some more collaboration with the increasing farmers markets in Prague would have been an interesting addition. Free beer pack aside, I just left feeling like I'd been a bit ripped off...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9117457965555197769.post-74329537702836547892011-06-03T06:07:21.953+02:002011-06-03T06:07:21.953+02:00The greenhouses were designed by the Czech Archite...The greenhouses were designed by the Czech Architect Eva Jiricna who has an architecture studio in London.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
